I wanted to share a fun new work adventure - teaching art classes for children! An amazing opportunity taking me back to my art major roots 😍 I’ll share some of our projects.
Hello Kitty Cafe with tea & cocktails?!? 😍 When can I make my reservation?!?
We've already shared so much exciting news this year, but this is our biggest news yet! The Hello Kitty Cafe is making a grand return to @IrvineSpectrumCenter on Friday, September 14, with the first ever ✨ Hello Kitty Grand Cafe ✨, featuring:
🎀 Exclusive merch and treats (like mini hot donuts!)
🍵 A hidden room for a reservation-only Afternoon Tea Service experience
🍹 A 21+ evening Cocktail Service, also reservation-only
How fun is this? What a great idea! I’m participating 😍
A card a day for 7 days? Challenge accepted! Thinking of You Week is September 24th through the 30th. Who will you connect with? 😃💌thinkingofyouweekusa
When you are so excited to finally get a book & you read it in a 24-hour period & are so sad you finished 😭 The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory is the perfect happily ever after read ❤️❤️❤️ Maybe I’ll have to read it twice 😍
Trying to get ready for September! I need to get back into my planner groove 😍 I kind of dropped my planning during summer 😳I love my colorful fountain pens, sticker letters & cute Bichon stickers ❤️❤️❤️
I love the TN plastic sheet with grid for writing on the go. We have TN products in our online shop! 😍
Two more - now I’m caught up! I enjoyed & learned from both books. Especially interesting if you want to know more about immigrants & people living in countries other than mine. Go by Kazuki Kaneshiro was especially interesting to me because it takes place in Japan & the main character is Korean. (There’s a movie too!) The Leavers by Lisa Ko involves a Chinese woman. Both great!
Four more to recommend! The Nakano Thrift Shop by Hiromi Kawakami, Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen, The Green Road by Anne Enright & The High Season by Judy Blundell 📚 First day of school at Point Loma! Sent Kevin off with his coffee ☕️😴
Playing with clear embossing on top of watercolored Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks. Super easy & fun for the ocean effect. Stamps, ink & embossing ink from Lawn Fawn I also used some sentiments from the Paper Tales/Amy Tangerine stamp set too.
Trying to find my creativity & inspiration by playing with paint & my Gelli plate. I’m using acrylic & watercolor.
