A tip for lazy crafters with OCD! I don't like my card making to be too complicated - but I like it to look perfect. (I know...I have a few other issues too!) So anyway I always struggled to make shakers cards to my liking. Some of my friends suggested using thicker foam and that has been amazing! We sell the 3mm foam sheets and I die cut that and put adhesive on it instead of using foam tape. No gaps or sticky, unfinished edges.
But the white looked awful with the brown woodgrain, so I used a brown Copic marker on the foam edges of the snow globe and brown acrylic paint on the frame. (Maybe you can find just the right 3mm brown foam - but I'm usually making these at 1am so it wasn't an option.) Voilà! I'm so happy!

Just some of the newest Tim Holtz products that arrived yesterday! Thanks again Paula Cheney for your expert help in placing our order 😘 Love the “”Snarky Chit-Chat” 😂
Carta Bella "Practically Perfect" - beautiful collection with a vintage/British vibe.
Echo Park "Imagine That" Boy & Girl collections.
Flora & Fauna are some of my favorite stamps. They are whimsical and so easy to make cards, artwork or anything prettier! I also don't need to use a die - and there are times when it's nice to "just" stamp. Flowers are from "Oh Hello Friend" and background & envelope stripe from "Texture Two".
